Eric's Trains - Lionel's New "KodaChrome" SD40T-2 Tunnel Motors

The Kodachrome paint scheme was from the ill-fated Southern Pacific and Santa Fe merger (known as SPSF). It was named after a color reversal film manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester, New York. This experimental scheme ultimately became a fan favorite in both real and model railroading. The Lionel O scale model you're viewing is based on a Southern Pacific SD40T-2 Tunnel Motor repainted in Kodachrome.
