YouTube Video Update - Lionel Big Boy at Rockville Lions Club Train Show
The Lions Club Train Show was located at a senior center in Rockville, Maryland on November 14th and 15th, 2015. It had trains in every gauge: standard gauge, O gauge, HO gauge, N gauge, and even Z gauge. There were also some trains that can run in gardens and some trains made entirely of LEGO blocks. By the way, this is my first video shot by my Android smartphone.
As sort of a no-brainer, my very favorite train in this show is the O scale Big Boy steam locomotive from Lionel's Vision Line, which basically represents the finest O scale models Lionel has to offer in terms of details, advanced features, and many other innovations. One of the most noticeable features in the Big Boy is a steaming whistle, which contains a smoke unit to simulate the steam coming out of the whistle when it's blown. In fact, that innovation inspired Lionel to produce more steam engines with the whistle steam effect. By the way, the Big Boy is not the first steam engine with the whistle steam effect because Lionel has been adding that feature to a lot of O scale steam engines since 2009, to my knowledge. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Vision Line Big Boy was also extremely expensive. Its retail price was almost $2,700! This is the most expensive toy train I've ever seen! But nevertheless, I was very happy to see the fine model that shows off the fact that Lionel is highly innovative and always will be.
